Donkey Kong

Though the first 4 levels are the same as the original, this isn't just another arcade port. 97 all new levels await you afterwards as you pursue Donkey Kong to rescue Pauline. Mario has some new moves to help him out such as the ability to pick up enemies and throw them like in Super Mario Bros. 2. You can also now fall from much higher distances without dying though you will be stunned for a moment. There are also new mechanics like switches to make bridges and ladders. In the new levels, Mario must pick up the key somewhere in the area and bring it over to the locked door to continue chasing Donkey Kong. The way the new levels are arranged introduces some puzzle elements that make you figure out how to proceed instead of being a straight action platforming game like the arcade Donkey Kong.
